Dewitt Collection
The precision model of the "DeWitt Clinton" locomotive, tender, and three stagecoach style passenger cars was completed over a period of 43 years by Mr. Douglas W. Cox, of Scott County, Kentucky.
Georgetown Post Office
It was a big day in Georgetown on May 1, 1915, when the post office cornerstone was laid in elaborate ceremonies and observed by some 2,500 citizens.

Reflections of the Stamping Ground Tornado
In 1974 the Super Outbreak of Tornadoes tore through Stamping Ground and caused waves of devastation. The Georgetown & Scott County Museum is commermorating this travesty for the 50th year anniversary.
